Sonifex Showcase New Dolby® Products At CABSAT 2012
Sonifex are exhibiting a host of new products on stand S2-F4 at CABSAT 2012.
Sales Manager Eamonn Heffernan commented: “Last year we exhibited a range of 3G/HD/SD-SDI video embedders and de-embedders, which proved to be a great success. This year we’ve added to those with Dolby® Decoders and Encoders, as standalone units and combined with embedding and de-embedding.”
New products include the Redbox RB-VHDDD8 which is a Dolby® E & Dolby Digital Decoder and De-Embedder. It de-embeds 16 channels of audio within any audio group of an SDI video signal and a further 2 which are sent to the Dolby® Decoder. Up to 10 channels from the decoder or any of the 16 channels from the de-embedder can then be re-embedded onto either of the two SDI outputs and also transmitted on a BNC or D-type situated on the rear panel...more >

Sonifex are showing an array of new products on stand H50 at BVE this year.
Managing Director, Marcus Brooke, commented: “Last year’s BVE was a great success for us and we’ve got some new products to demonstrate for TV and radio studio engineers. Gurkha Welfare Society Use Sonifex S2 Mixer
In a recent BBC report (Jan 2012), about the current role of Gurkha soldiers in the British Army, retired Major Sonam Sherpa, of the Gurkha Regiment, was interviewed whilst sitting behind a Sonifex S2 Digital I/O Analogue Radio Broadcast Mixer. A Sonifex S2-15 Mixer was purchased by the British Gurkha Welfare Society in March 2006.

Sonifex Sign as DaySequerra UK Distributor
DaySequerra manufacture a range of different audio for TV products including loudness meters and loudness control equipment, low bit rate audio processors and DTS® encoding and decoding products. DaySequerra products are being distributed in the UK exclusively by Sonifex from 1st September 2011 and are being demonstrated on stand 8.E61 at IBC.
