      This firmware is an upgrade for existing firmware versions between V1.040 and V1.050 inclusive and will not result in audio loss after the upgrade as the G.729A record format is excluded from this build. It includes all the other enhancements and bug fixes of V1.058. This version is also suitable for upgrading Net-Logs that were supplied with firmware versions between V1.051 and V1.056 inclusive that had the G.729A record format specifically excluded. Please refer to the table shown above.

V1.056 Firmware adds support for G.729A record format. This version is not compatible with previous version of Net-Log firmware. Please ensure all required audio has been downloaded from the Net-Log prior to upgrading the firmware. Once the firmware upgrade has completed, an Administrator Reset is required to reset the hard drive header.

  • Important Note

    • Due to the increased number of available tracks, the area of the hard drive that is used to store the track information (the Header) is larger than in previous versions. This increased header area overwrites a small section of the hard disk that was used for storing audio data. After the upgrade, the audio in this section will be lost. It is therefore, very important to download any audio that you require. You must do this prior to upgrading the firmware to V1.040.

    V1.040 supports hard drives in excess of 137 GB. However to enable this support, base code revision 'd' must be used.
