Sonifex Store Guidelines
Thank you for visiting our on-line shop. Following are some instructions on what’s
available in the shop and how to buy from it. Firstly though, you should read our
standard terms and conditions of trade which will apply to any transactions that you
make with Sonifex ( Terms & Conditions).
This shop is only available to UK customers, and customers in areas where we don’t
have a distributor. Click on this link to see if there is a distributor in the
country that you are browsing from. (Sonifex Distributors) Buying from a local distributor is
always going to be better for you for one main reason - technical support ! Whilst we
do offer email support, your distributor is in your time-zone and knows the products
as well as we do. Take their advice!
What’s in the Shop?
The only products that we have listed in our shop are the Redbox range of interface
boxes and the CCS range of ISDN audio codecs. The handbooks for these products are
also on-line, so if you’re not sure what they do, check them out in detail ( Redbox Handbooks & Codec Handbooks).
Using the Store
To purchase a product, simply enter the quantity that you want and click on the "Add
To Basket" button next to the required product. This will take you to view your
Shopping Basket. From there you can "Go To Payments" to enter your payment details, or
"Continue Shopping" to add more Redboxes to your cart. Note : If you want to delete
items from your Shopping Cart, set the quantity to zero and press the "Recalculate"
button.
Once you’ve ordered, you’ll be sent an automated email to confirm that you’ve
completed the purchase form (so it’s important that the email address information you
enter is accurate). However, we’ll follow this up with an emailed order acknowledgement to say whether
your order as been accepted, to confirm the price and to provide an estimated
shipping date.
Payment
We accept payment via Visa & Mastercard credit cards and Solo, Delta & Switch debit
cards. We will not charge your card until the goods are ready to be despatched. If
you have an account, select a payment method of "Customer Account" and enter your
account number - we’ll charge your account when the goods are despatched. Please note
that transaction details are handled using SSL, i.e. a secure server, and we have a
policy of not passing on customer details to anyone else - your details are strictly
confidential to Sonifex Ltd.
Pricing & Discounts
All the prices are in UK pounds sterling and we charge VAT at 17.5% for all UK
orders. We offer a discount of 5% on the purchase of 5 or more Redboxes (this
excludes the RB-RK1), for example : buying 2 x RB-MA2 and 3 x RB-DA6 will secure the
discount, but buying 2 x RB-MA2 and 3 x RB-RK1 will not. The software we’re using isn
’t clever enough to differentiate what you are buying (i.e. currently if you entered
the above information, it will tell you that you’ve got an extra discount in both
cases) so we’ll handle the discounts manually when we receive the order from you.
Just be aware of this. As mentioned above, we’ll confirm the pricing, discounts &
shipping details to you by email in an order acknowledgement.
Delivery
We charge a basic fee of £9.50 + VAT for Next Day delivery throughout the UK for up
to 5 products. For every product ordered above 5 in quantity, an additional £2 + VAT
is charged. Usually, Redboxes are available "off the shelf". However, if they’re not
in stock, then delivery is usually between 5 and 15 working days. If the CCS products
aren’t in stock, then they’ll be on a 10 – 15 day delivery. When we receive your
order, we’ll advise you of a delivery date. If there is likely to be any change in
this date, we will let you know as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we won’t be able
to deliver to an address which is different to the main address on your credit card.
The reason for this, as hopefully you will appreciate, is to stop fraud, i.e. someone
using your credit card to order themselves goods. At least this way, if someone else
orders the goods on your card, you’ll still get them !
