SCi 2 Installation Notes
The new SCi 2 installation now uses modules (or drivers) for all of the supported products. This allows for easier maintenance and upgrading of the software and also selective installation of certain products to reduce disk space and load time. All of these modules are installed by default when running the setup file provided on the download page. You can choose to not install certain modules if you wish. These can be downloaded through SCi or manually at a later date, if required.
When discovering devices, if a product is found with no associated driver, then the product description will say "Not Supported". Clicking on this will allow you to connect to the Sonifex website and download the relevant driver for this product. Once downloaded, SCi will automatically install it and allow you to connect to the unit immediately.
If you wish to download these drivers manually from the website, then place them in the "Modules" sub-directory of the SCi 2 installation folder and restart SCi if necessary.
