On stand 77 at the SBES, Sonifex will be showing a range of equipment making its UK debut.
Shown for the first time at SBES are new additions to the Redbox range of audio interfaces. New products in the analogue range include the RB-BL4 dual stereo bi-directional matching amplifier and the RB-LU4 quad stereo balanced to unbalanced converter. New digital additions include the RB-ADDA A/D & D/A converter and the RB-SP1 digital AES/EBU splitter/combiner.
The Courier hard-disk portable recorder now comes with USB connector which supports USB 1.1 and enables downloads to the PC of up to 40 times real-time speed. The USB port works in addition to the RS232 serial port and the optional in-built ISDN codec. Supplied with the new Courier is software to enable connection to Windows Explorer in Win 98 and Windows 2000.
The Net-Log audio logger is a dedicated PC controlled hardware recorder, able to record 4 mono, or 2 stereo audio streams, for playback across a network using TCP/IP.
Following the acquisition of the Nicral product range, Sonifex will also be displaying the Nica X range of codecs and ISDN management system. Sonifex is now a distributor of the very successful CCS Musicam range of codecs and will be showing the new CCS Superlink ISDN, TCP/IP audio gateway codec as well as the best selling Prima LT and Prima LT Plus audio codecs. Controlling the Nica X range of codecs and the CCS range of codecs will be the ARC AkCESS software for ISDN remote control and audio routing.
Other products on display include digital and analogue telephone balance units, the Sentinel range of audio loggers and the Sovereign on-air modular mixer.
